One time I was sailing on a ship from Europe to the East Coast of the U.S. Our destination was Charleston, SC. There was a storm in the area that turned out to be Hurricane Hugo. It seemed like everywhere we went the storm seemed to follow us. The captain kept changing course to avoid the storm, but the storm would change with our change. Sometimes that is how life is. harbor. We were one of the last ships to leave Charleston before the storm hit. We hurried out to sea and then to the Gulf to Houston, Texas. I was very thankful for a good captain that navigated us through this devastating storm. In our lives we need such a captain. Jesus needs to be the captain and navigator of our lives. He will bring and steer you through these perilous times to a safe harbor. He died on the cross for us so we could rest in eternity in a safe harbor, called heaven. We all need help navigating through life.
